Breath — Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 18, 2026

Breath is a one-minute breathing app made by Mauricio Chirino. It is designed to know as little about you as possible.

What we collect

Nothing that identifies you. Breath has no accounts and no sign-in. Your breathing sessions, streaks, and preferences are stored on your device.

To understand how Breath is used and improve it, we collect anonymous product analytics: which breathing patterns are started and completed, when the paywall is shown, and similar in-app events. These are tied to a random device identifier only — never to your name, email, or anything that identifies you — and are not used to track you across other apps or websites. We never sell this data.

Third-party services

Apple Health

With your permission, Breath saves each completed session to Apple Health as a mindful minute. This is write-only: Breath never reads anything from Health, and your Health data stays on your device under Apple's control — we never see it, store it, or transmit it. You can revoke this permission anytime in Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices.

Notifications

Streak reminders are scheduled locally on your device. No notification data leaves your phone.

Data deletion

Deleting the app deletes all your data on the device. Analytics events already collected are anonymous — we could not link them back to you even if asked, which is the point.
